Emily was amazing to work with on my wedding invitation suite and day-of paper goods! She is not only an amazing calligrapher, but also assisted me with all of my graphic design needs. She worked with my very tight turn-around time, only needing about a week to finish 80+ outer and inner envelopes. She also made sure to deliver my day-of menus and programs on time, despite my late request to have them completed. Hello! I'm Emily
As a lover of all things antiquated, from old houses and classic movies to historical fiction, I've always been drawn to traditional techniques and classic style. My introduction to stationery design and calligraphy started in 2004 when I taught myself copperplate calligraphy while designing, producing and addressing my wedding invitations to marry my high school sweetheart, Dan. I continued to study traditional calligraphy following our wedding. Since 2016 I have been providing my calligraphy and design services professionally to clients throughout the country.
I am a member of the International Association of Master Penmen, Engrossers and Teachers of Handwriting (IAMPETH) and the Washington Calligraphers Guild. I have studied under renowned calligraphers including Master Penman John DeCollibus, Suzanne Cunningham and Anne Elser.
